The global numerical models continue to indicate that Hawai'i will
remain between the polar westerlies and the deep-layered moist
tropical easterlies for the next week. Smaller scale synoptic
disturbances will be tricky to track, given that such wiggles may
graze the islands from either the westerlies or easterlies.
Five-day QPF through 00Z/21 Wednesday is generally a tenth- to
quarter-inch statewide, with the usual higher totals in the big
terrain.
