The highlight weather feature of the week is the strong cold front
projected to cross the islands Saturday night with very good
agreement on its timing and strength. Given near to at times
slightly below normal moisture values...the front will likely pass
with little to no precipitation as the low track  remains north.
The primary impacts will be a fast and strong wind shift and
another change in airmass. The cold frontal passage is on the
heals of a highly amplifying longwave trough north of the islands.
The potential exists for another reinforcing cold front to cross
the islands next Wednesday, with the latest gfs and ecmwf runs
preferred for timing and strength versus the 00z Canadian which is
stronger as it lies near the amplified side of the guidance aloft.
