Hawai'i will sit between strong ridging to the southwest just west
of the Dateline and strong troughing north of the state around
40N. Stalled boundary over the region will slowly dissipate its
moisture axis as it moves northwestward through Saturday. Another
front is expected to push into the area next Monday into Tuesday
with high pressure in its wake for Wednesday and Thursday. Another
front is poised to lie northwest of the region late next week per
the ensembles. A blend among the GFS/ECMWF and ensembles should
suffice as differences lie within the ensemble spread.
Precipitation is expected to be light to modest with typical
windward/terrain enhancements.
