Models and ensembles still generally agree on the strong front
pushing through Hawai'i late Tuesday into early Wednesday. This
will be accompanied by a relatively brief rise in PW values with a
line of showers and heavier rain. Strong surface high pressure
will follow in its wake along 30N, bringing windy conditions to
the region veering from the north to northeast to east by next
weekend. A slow rise in PW values should occur starting later in
the week with scattered showers through the period. Model/ensemble
blend should suffice for the period as the larger spread lies well
to the north and west.
