Tail end of a cold front will stall/linger across the
central/southeastern islands today (Wednesday). Moisture plume
will remain mostly in place into Thursday before lifting back to
the northwestern islands. Precipitation will slowly wane as
available moisture decreases, especially by Sunday. The ensembles
indicate surface high pressure to move eastward along 30N Sat-Wed
and strengthen with time. Good agreement exists on the high
pressure near 35N/150W next Wednesday. 00Z GEFS and ECENS mean
correlate well with each other. Trades will be on the increase
next Sun-Wed as the gradient increases due to the strong high
pressure.
