A prefered composite of reasonably compatable model and ensemble
composite shows that amplified mid-upper level trough passage
northeast of the state is forcing a trailing surface front across
the state today/Monday. Expect enhanced shower potential with
blended precipitable water loops showing pooled moisture with
values upwards of 1.25". Lingering moisture should then fuel
mainly windward favored terrain rains over the rest of the
week/next weekend as returning trades are periodically raised to
brisk levels as post-frontal high pressure cells bridge to the
north then northeast of the state.
