Trades should be in the stronger half of the spectrum for most of
the period as supported by a steady progression of mid-latitude
Pacific surface highs.  Expect windward-focused showers to be in
the light to moderate range, with precipitable water values
tending to be below climatology for this time of year.  Also
heights aloft will be relatively high although best ridging will
be somewhat to the northeast-north-northwest of the islands.  One
slight enhancement to rainfall may accompany the dissipating tail
end of a front that is forecast by the models to reach the state
by Friday-Saturday.
