A cold front currently to the north of the region will continue to
sink southward over the next couple of days and bring scattered
showers to the area on Thursday/Friday. The ensembles show the
upper low to the northeast of the state to weaken by the weekend
with heights building from the west next Monday/Tuesday. This
would support a drier pattern for the Aloha state with trades
veering from northerly later this week behind the front to
easterly next week as a surface high moves eastward along 30N. A
model consensus should suffice.
