A surface front will stall well northwest of the islands late this
week while the anchoring low pressure system lifts towards the
Gulf of Alaska this weekend.  Strong high pressure setting up
north of Hawai'i Saturday and Sunday should gradually sink
southeastward and help increase trades over the islands early next
week.  Aloft, general weak troughing will remain centered over
Hawai'i this weekend and into early next week.  Ensembles indicate
a drop in precipitable water values next week suggesting a lower
chance of rain which was shown explicitly from the latest
GFS/ECMWF forecasts.
