Ensembles agree on maintaining the quiet pattern for the central
tropical Pacific as a strong upper high north of the area slowly
weakens and drifts northeastward. This supports breezy trades
through about Wednesday but with limited lower level moisture only
scattered windward/mauka showers. Precipitable water values are
forecast to remain below average through the period even as an
upper level weakness passes westward through Hawai'i next
Wednesday-Friday.
