Models and ensembles agree on a relatively quiet and dry pattern
for Hawai'i over the next week. Precipitable water values will
remain below average (generally near an under an inch vs average
values just over an inch) and surface high pressure centers will
pass eastward along 33N as upper ridging builds to the northwest
of the area. Trades will be breezy from time to time especially by
the end of next week as the pressure gradient strengthens. Prefer
the 00Z ECMWF/Canadian by then as the 00Z/06Z GFS were a bit
weaker with the surface high even compared to its own ensemble
mean.
