1030mb high to the north of the area will weaken and slide
eastward over the next couple of days, allowing trades to ease
through Friday. A weakness aloft may enhance shower activity in an
otherwise dry pattern. By late Thursday/early Friday into the
weekend, precipitable water values are forecast to increase as a
wave of moisture pushes through the region from the east. This
should continue westward Sunday into next week as another surface
high strengthens to the northeast of the state which will increase
trades again. Another weakness aloft is forecast to settle along
160W next Tuesday per the ensembles.
