Upper-level ridging will build over the region during the next few
days. A weakness will move westward just to the north of Hawai'i
Friday into next week per the models/ensembles. Isolated windward
showers are forecast for most of the week given broad subsidence.
Trades will increase this weekend into next week as surface high
pressure drifts westward along 40N. Precipitable water values will
rise in tandem this weekend though the GFS appeared too high in
comparison to the ensembles.
