Models continue to show the upper ridge building through the
region during the next few days.  The ECMWF/GFS and their ensemble
members are showing an upper level weakness drifting westward
north of Hawai'i through the weekend.  In addition, PW values will
also be on the increase this weekend.  Consequently, isolated
windward showers can be expected this weekend and into next
week--with QPF values the highest in the favored windward areas
especially late in the weekend and next week. Overall, compromise
between GFS/ECMWF is still acceptable.
