An upper level circulation will settle into northwest of the
islands between two ridges and this pattern will persist for
several days. Surface high pressure will remain present to
northwest and northeast, which should favor moderate mean trades
underneath into the state. Favored model trends show a drier and
more stable airmass early in the period; however there will be an
increase in easterly waves that may increase the chance for
showers andadditional tropical moisture by the weekend.
