Please consult the CPHC for the latest information. Trades will be on the lighter side as the upper low drifts to the northwest over the weekend into early next week past 20N/150W. Mainly light windward/mauka showers are expected over the next several days. To the east, NHC is issuing advisories on Hurricane Norman with a forecast track westward between 15-20N and a day 5 position about 1100 miles east of the Big Island. Latest ensemble guidance takes the system to near 150W by next Thursday with the subtropical upper ridge to its northeast (from about 145W eastward to southern California/northern Mexico), leaving a weakness aloft over the region.
