Trades will be on the lighter side early this week. Mainly
windward/mauka showers are expected today.

During tonight and Tuesday, both the GFS and ECMWF have an
increase in available precipitable water, so amounts and coverage
of showers could increase. On Wednesday, the trend reverses with
drier air forecast to move across the islands, so Wed and Thu look
to have less shower coverage and light amounts. Then later in the
week the Central Pacific Hurricane Center will track tropical
cyclone Norman and its potential impacts on Hawaii.
