Breezy north winds (about 20-25 kts with higher gusts) behind a
cold front will slowly subside and veer back to east-northeasterly
then easterly later in the week as upper heights build over the
area. A typical trade pattern is expected for much of the week
with generally light windward/mauka showers. By the weekend the
ensembles show troughing developing just to the southwest of the
area that may move over the state next Sunday, increasing the
chance for more rain especially over the western islands.
