Post-frontal high pressure settling north of the state should
support modest trade return through midweek as residual moisture
pooled along the stalled frontal lingers near the state. Residual
moisture over the next few days is expected to fuel additional
showers, especially for the southern islands. Amplified mid-upper
level trough approach from the northwest Thursday should force
another moisture/shower enhancing front into the islands late week
as energy digs to the lee of a building mid-upper level ridge
upstream over the subtropical west-central Pacific. Guidance
remains reasonably clustered so prefer a composite solution.
