A preferred composite of well clustered model and ensemble
guidance supports generally stable and disrupted flow with limited
island showers over the next few days as a mean closed trough
settles to the east of the state. Trough energy passing north of
the state heading into the weekend will refocus closed low
development just to the northeast of the Big Island and drive a
moisture and modest shower focusing cold front across the state
underneath Saturday. Expect limited post-frontal showers with
advent of cooler and drier northerly flow into early next week.
