Models and ensembles reasonably agree that flow amplification will
dig an potent mid-upper level trough across and to the north of
the state this weekend. This will force a moisture pooling cold
front through the state along with an enhanced chance of showers.
Moderate post-frontal high pressure bridging to the north of the
state next week will support a modest trade flow pattern. A
favored guidance composite shows that approach of a second
mid-upper level trough would disrupt trades and force another
shower focusing front toward the state in about a week.
