Hawaii Extended Forecast Discussion NWS Weather Prediction Center College Park MD 740 AM EDT Mon Jun 10 2019 Valid 00Z Tue Jun 11 2019 - 00Z Tue Jun 18 2019 Upper level ridging settled to the west and east of the state will leave the Hawaiian Islands under a relative weakness aloft. A frontal boundary holding well to the north/northwest will dissipate into late week. Deep tropical moisture is forecast to stay south of the area as precipitable water values mostly oscillate in the 1.00-1.25 inch range over the next week. Surface high pressure bridging to the north of the state over the next week will act to increase trades to moderate mean levels in a pattern supporting light showers on windward slopes. Schichtel
