A favored guidance composite shows a protracted drying trend over
the islands this weekend and early next week with return to
seasonal trades and mainly windward terrain shower pattern under a
lingering weakness aloft. Trades should weaken by the middle of
next week as a closed upper trough digs well to the north of the
state. This may allow for a pattern with limited scattered showers.
