A broad subtropical ridge will be anchored north of Hawai'i while
remnants of what was tropical cyclone Barbara drifts westward.
Precipitable water values will rise above 2 inches and this will
bring a period of enhanced rainfall to the islands, especially on
the East and South sides of the islands. The best potential for
heavier showers is for the Big Island and this will elevated the
risk for flash flooding. Otherwise, typical trade wind induced
showers can be expected through the upcoming week.
