Moderate to breezy trade winds are expected to continue through
next week as a broad mid/upper level weakness remains anchored
over the state. Clouds and showers should generally favor windward
and mountain locations. By late next week, models continue to show
the potential for a tropical disturbance to pass just south of the
state. This will pull deeper moisture from the south, increasing
the potential for scattered heavier showers across the Big Island
and Maui. Confidence on the details of this system remain low.
