An upper-level low will drift over and to the northwest of the
region this weekend. A ridge will be positioned to the northeast
during this time and by the end of forecast, another upper low
will be approaching the state from the east. There will be an
increase in the windward shower activity this weekend  along with
increasing trade winds. By Tuesday the western islands will have
scattered to numerous showers, possibly heavy at times.
