Hawaii Extended Forecast Discussion NWS Weather Prediction Center College Park MD 825 AM EDT Tue Oct 22 2019 Valid 00Z Wed Oct 23 2019 - 00Z Wed Oct 30 2019 Moderate trade winds can expected through midweek as high pressure will be sprawled over much of the Pacific Ocean. An approaching front will stall to the north/northwest of the Islands, which will help relax the trade winds. A secondary front will take a similar track as the first by the end of the weekend then surface high pressure will slide in behind in the wake. During the course of this week, precipitable water values will be slowly increasing across the northern islands which may lead to a slight enhancement of windward shower activity, possibly reaching the Big Island this weekend.
