Hawaii Extended Forecast Discussion NWS Weather Prediction Center College Park MD 209 AM EST Thu Nov 28 2019 Valid 00Z Fri Nov 29 2019 - 00Z Fri Dec 06 2019 A frontal boundary stalled near Kauai should dissipate on Friday with rain chances diminishing as well. By the weekend, there is good agreement amongst the models and ensembles that high pressure will build north of the state through the weekend and into next week with any notable systems remaining well to the west. This should bring a return to a more normal and breezy trade wind pattern. Some higher moisture may reach the islands by Sunday which should briefly bring increased shower chances, but through much of next week any showery activity would mainly favor windward and mountain locations.
