Breezy trades will remain out of the NE to ENE into Monday as a
surface high slides eastward between 25-30N. Models/ensembles
generally show below normal precipitable water values (around an
inch or less) this week with light windward/mauka showers. Trades
will weaken and veer to the SE late in the week as a NE to SW
oriented front slides eastward past 30N/160W Thursday. This front
may approach and/or stall briefly over Kauai by the end of the
week but amid upper ridging and precipitable water values around
1.25 inches, which should limit the extent of any showers.
