A favored composite of reasonably compatable guidance shows that
high pressure working to the north then northeast of the state
over the next few days will support breezy trades. The pattern
will favor limited windward/mountain focusing showers and moisture
availability. Amplified mid-upper trough passage to the north of
the islands and frontal approach from the northwest this
weekend/Monday will act to disrupt trades in a developing pattern
with gradually returning moisture and shower potential. Trades
should return past midweek with post-frontal high pressure slated
to bridge to the north of the state and as a lingering front with
focus for showers and moisture stalls/weakens near the islands.
