Models and ensembles reasonably agree in showing that two main
mid-upper level troughs will pass along and to the north of the
state over the next week. The lead system will push an associated
front with showers toward the islands into the weekend. A second
system may again affect the state early-mid next week before a
more stable upper ridge builds over the state into later next
week. Expect most precipitation will focus over favored windward
terrain in a pattern with moderate to locally brezzy trades and
deepest moisture may focus over the western islands closer to the
fronts.
