The forecast over Hawaii should be very quiet for at least the
next week. Models and ensembles continue to show good consensus
that a mid/upper-level ridge should remain anchored over Hawaii
and much of the Central Pacific. Strong surface high pressure
north of the state will maintain moderate to locally breezy trade
winds over the islands. This should transport some increased
moisture into the state, though any rains should tend to favor
windward and mountain locations.
