Guidance remains in good agreement on the overall pattern near
Hawai'i for the next week. Trades will pick up again around
Wednesday due to a strengthening pressure gradient with a 1031mb
high near 35N/150W late Thu. Moisture levels will remain about
average with a weakness in the mid-levels but heights generally
near to above average. Expect generally light showers as the
deeper moisture stays well south, though the 00Z ECMWF/GFS
forecast a surge of moisture to either scrape the islands or just
miss to the south (respectively) next weekend into Mon.
