Light trades should continue across Hawaii through Wednesday as
surface high pressure slips to the northeast of the state and a
cut-off upper low meanders west of the islands. Sensible weather
associated with this system should be minor with only scattered
windward showers possible. Higher moisture moving into the region
along with moderate to breezy trade winds by Thursday could bring
an uptick in showery activity even into leeward sections of the
islands. Trades should weaken/return back towards normal by Friday
continuing into early next week as another easterly wave/upper low
moves towards the state.
