An upper level low northwest of the state should weaken Wednesday
into Thursday as high pressure builds back in north of Hawaii into
the weekend. This will result in moderate to breezy trades and a
slight uptick in mainly windward showers and storms, spilling over
into leeward sections at times as well. A period of weaker
trades/drier conditions returns by Sunday as another upper
low/easterly wave drifts northeast of the islands and squashes
high pressure well to the north. By the middle of next week, the
forecast brings breezy trades back in as upper level ridging once
again builds over the state.
