An upper level low northwest of Hawaii should weaken Wednesday
into Thursday as high pressure builds back in to the north into
the weekend. This will result in moderate to breezy trades with
mainly light showers favoring windward locations and the
occasional spillover into leeward sections. A period of weaker
trades/drier conditions returns by Sunday as another upper
low/easterly wave drifts northeast of the islands and squashes
high pressure well to the north. By the middle of next week
though, the forecast brings breezy trades back in as upper level
ridging once again builds over the state.
