For the upcoming week into next weekend, guidance shows fairly
good agreement in the overall large scale pattern. Tighter
pressure gradient due to high pressure to the north will promote
the development of stronger trade winds initially but then give
way to lighter flow as the system weakens. To the north/northwest,
a highly amplified trough axis dips down to around 30N but
sensible weather impacts to Hawaii should be limited.
