Model guidance offers good agreement and run to run continuity
this cycle. Early in the period, trade winds will be strong due to
a tight pressure gradient from high pressure to the  north but
this is expected to relax by the middle of the period and then
give way to lighter flow. Overall drier than normal conditions are
expected with PW values hovering around 1 inch and models showing
below normal precipitation chances. Later in the period, a highly
amplified trough axis dips down to around 30N but sensible weather
impacts to Hawaii should be limited.
