A seemingly reasonable and well clustered consensus of models and
ensembles shows modest mean island trades for the next week. Below
normal precipitable water values of around 1.25 inches or lower in
this pattern should favor mostly light shower activity, even with
a mean weakness aloft over the state. Rain should focus over
windward/mountain areas most of the time, but sea/land breezes
that could develop during periods of lightest trade flow could
bring some showers to other locations.
