Upper ridging will remain focused to the north the area,
maintaining modest trades and generally light windward/mauka
showers. Deeper moisture will be confined to near the ITCZ. A
trough will dig north of the area by early next week with a
consensus for a progressive system that would keep the cold front
just north of the area next week. Tropical Storm Lowell is
forecast to move westward this week into next week and likely turn
northwestward to northward to the east of the region ahead of the
cold front.
