Models and ensembles reasonably agree in showing disrupted trades
with amplified upper trough reinforcement to the north of the
state and as an associated front settling just to the northwest
and north of the state. Expect the pattern will offer some showers
in areas favored by land/sea breeze convergence. Tropical moisture
and some heavier downpours may feed into the islands from the
southeast late week and this weekend in response to troughing
aloft and as light to moderate trades return a windward terrain
focus. Deeper moisture is expected to exit the state into next
week.
