The latest run of the models remain in above-average agreement
cross the region given the transitional flow. High pressure will
be in place well to the west of the islands. Impulses tracking
toward the state aloft will latch onto residual moisture and
trigger shower activity for a couple of days along the windward
terrain. Enhanced island trades should transition through moderate
levels mid-late week. Multiple models depict the passage of an
amplified trough near/north of the islands. This would bring a
trailing cold front through the states by the end of the
week/Saturday from the northwest along with enhanced convection.
After the frontal passage, drier air would filter into the region
and help the trades return to light flow.
