Upper ridging will bridge across the state through next week,
intermittently interrupted. Lower level moisture is forecast to
increase from the east/southeast (precipitable water values
1.00-1.60 inches) late Thu into early Fri but overall mid-level
moisture levels will stay on the drier side. As a result, only
scattered windward/mauka showers are forecast. Trades may become
modest to breezy late in the week as a surface high slips eastward
just to the north of the area before returning to more typical
levels next week as a front approaches Kauai next Tue/Wed. A
blended solution between the GFS/ECMWF should suffice as they
differ a bit in how much to erode the upper ridge next week.
