A favored model and ensemble composite of reasonably well
clustered guidance indicates that the Trades should gradually
weaken through midweek in a relatively drier pattern, with the
high pressure ridge moving farther east and thus less of a
pressure gradient. There remains an emerging guidance signal later
week and next weekend for an approaching front to stall and then
weaken in the general vicinity of the western islands as the
parent surface low lifts northward across the North Pacific. 
Meanwhile, the Trades should gradually increase some as high
pressure builds to the north of the state, and focuses some
showers over windward terrain.
