Drier and cooler post-frontal air now spreading briskly across the
state holds through the weekend, but expect some lingering showers
over favored southern island terrain as per upper troughing.
Amplified upper trough approach to the state from the west early
next week favors deep lead moisture/instability return and a
threat for enhanced showers/thunderstorms with frontal passage
across the state. A composite of decently clustered model and
ensemble guidance seem reasonable. Frontal passage would lead into
a drier pattern again by next midweek.
