A cold front extending southwest from a low pressure wave is
bringing showers and isolated thunderstorms across Hawaii today. 
Meanwhile, an axis of rain will move further away to the east of
the Big Island.  Towards the end of the week, there is good model
signals for an upper low to form east of Hawaii and then
retrograde toward the state later in the weekend and into early
next week.  The associated moisture should bring an increasing
chance of showers to drift from east to west across Hawaii as the
next cold front begins to approach the region from the northwest.
