A cold front approaching and eventually stalling over the
northern/western islands mid-week will bring the potential for
organized, locally heavy, rainfall to parts of Kauai and westward
aided by moisture interactions with a stubborn upper low situated
to the south and west. The front should dissipate over the region
by next weekend as high pressure builds to the north. Moderate to
breezy trade winds should return later this week and through the
weekend, with showers tending to favor windward and mountain areas.
