Moisture associated with a lingering upper low west of Hawaii will
keep showers in the forecast on Friday, but conditions should dry
out this weekend as the trough dissipates and high pressure builds
to the north. Moderate to breezy trade winds are also expected to
maintain across the region for the next week, with any showers
tending to favor windward and mountain areas. Another cold front
looks to approach the region from the West by later in the period,
but models at this point keep the heaviest rainfall well west of
Hawaii at least through next week.
