A relatively tight pressure gradient will keep a moderate to
breezy easterly trade wind regime in place later this week into
early next week across the region. This is expected to favor
precipitation along the windward and terrain areas. Expect
enhanced surf conditions for those east-facing beaches. By this
upcoming weekend, lower heights aloft/weak troughing are expected
to be in place and this combined with slightly anomalous moisture
arriving from the southeast could provide the better focus for
more coverage in precipitation.
