A tight pressure gradient early in the period will promote the
development of windward favored precipitation later this week into
this weekend while aloft there should continue to be upper level
troughing. By Sunday, a slight increase in moisture is expected
from the south/southeast and this could favor enhanced
precipitation across the region. The latest guidance suggests a
front to approach or pass through the area early to mid next week,
bringing drier air and stronger northeasterly flow.
